Original case used to bring moonrocks back to Earth by the Apollo mission. Washington D.C., Traditional Piscataway Tribal Homeland, 2019.
Cherokee woman Mary Golda Ross did research that was instrumental to the Apollo mission that put a man on the moon. Together with her Black women colleagues like Katherine Johnson at NASA (who largely did the calculations from their minds alone), these women represent the multidimensionality of Matriarch brilliance and compassion that forms the forward edge of humanity’s past present and future.
